Staycore Revenue Protection CONTROL STANDARD · HOTEL OPERATIONS

Keep more of what your hotel earns.

The hotel operating system built to protect revenue.

97% Minimum applicable-scenario coverage. Guaranteed.Current first-party certification: 40 of 40 scenarios passed (100%). See the report.

Staycore connects bookings, payments, room access, POS, inventory, approvals, and audit trails—helping your team prevent, detect, reconcile, and investigate controllable revenue leakage.

Controllable leakage means an operational gap the connected system can reasonably block, surface, reconcile, or preserve for review. It does not mean every form of theft or physical loss.

The owner question

Your hotel made money. Did you receive all of it?

Leakage rarely arrives as one dramatic event. It accumulates through rooms that never reach the ledger, extensions that outlive payment, orders that stop before settlement, stock that moves without explanation, and adjustments that nobody reviews.

01 · ROOMS

Off-book occupancy

A room appears vacant in the system while physical activity says otherwise.

Connect · booking + room state + access
02 · STAYS

Unbilled extensions

A guest stays longer, but the extension, payment, and access window drift apart.

Connect · departure + balance + credential
03 · F&B

Orders without settlement

The kitchen or bar acts, but the bill never reaches payment or the guest folio.

Connect · order + KOT + bill + folio
04 · STOCK

Inventory variance

Stock leaves the store without a matching sale, recipe use, wastage, or approved comp.

Connect · issue + use + sale + variance
05 · CONTROL

Silent adjustments

Discounts, voids, refunds, and rate changes happen without the right approval path.

Connect · role + request + approval + audit
Four control outcomes

Protection is four different jobs.

A credible control system says exactly what happened. Blocking an action, detecting a mismatch, reconciling records, and retaining audit evidence are useful—but they are not interchangeable.

01

Prevent

Stop an unauthorized action before it changes the commercial record.

Example · approval required before an out-of-policy discount
02

Detect

Surface a mismatch or exception while the team can still investigate it.

Example · occupied-room signal without a matching stay
03

Reconcile

Compare the operating event with the charge, payment, folio, or stock movement.

Example · kitchen order against settled or room-posted bill
04

Audit

Retain who acted, what changed, when it happened, and which approval applied.

Example · refund request, approver, reason, and final result
Connected control layer

One action should leave one connected truth.

Staycore links the physical operation to its commercial record. Owners get exceptions they can act on, rather than another disconnected report to compare by hand.

Coverage by operation

The control follows the records Staycore can connect.

The Revenue Protection Guarantee covers every current Staycore hotel plan. Door-lock controls are included; each property’s applicable scenarios follow its configured workflows, connected services, and installed supported lock hardware.

97%Minimum scenario-coverage guarantee

40 of 40 applicable control scenarios passed.

SCENARIO COVERAGE = PASSED APPLICABLE SCENARIOS ÷ TOTAL APPLICABLE SCENARIOS × 100

The current first-party result is 100%. The guarantee promises a minimum 97%. This measures whether Staycore produces the defined control outcome in applicable scenarios—not the percentage of monetary loss recovered and not every form of theft prevented.

Standard RPS-1.0.0 · Terms RPGT-1.0.0 · First-party certification by the Staycore Product & Controls Team · Valid through 15 February 2027.

01

Set the applicable scenario set

Included plan capabilities count when their supported workflow is configured. Door-lock controls are included in hotel plans and run when supported lock hardware is installed and connected.

02

Test the defined outcome

Each scenario passes only when the expected outcome—prevent, detect, reconcile, or audit—is produced with the evidence required by RPS-1.0.0.

03

Back the measurement

If a certified passing scenario misses its defined outcome in an eligible deployment and the claim is verified, Staycore applies a one-month subscription credit under RPGT-1.0.0.

Common questions

Common questions owners ask.

What does controllable revenue leakage mean?
A gap that software and operating controls can reasonably prevent, surface, reconcile, or preserve for review—for example an occupied room without a valid stay, an unsettled order, an unexplained stock variance, or an unauthorized adjustment.
Does Staycore guarantee that no theft or loss can happen?
The guarantee is specific: Staycore’s applicable connected controls will meet the 97% performance floor. The current standard passed 40 of 40 scenarios—blocking unauthorized actions, surfacing mismatches, reconciling records, and preserving traceable changes across rooms, payments, F&B, inventory, and access. Deliberate activity kept outside connected systems is outside the measured standard.
How is the Revenue Protection Standard measured?
Scenario coverage equals passed applicable scenarios divided by total applicable scenarios, multiplied by 100. RPS-1.0.0 tested 40 scenarios and passed all 40, producing a 100% first-party result against the 97% guarantee threshold. Read the certification report.
Does the guarantee apply to every hotel plan?
Yes. Hotel Starter, Hotel Growth, Hotel Business Plus, and Hotel Enterprise are certified at 40 of 40 applicable scenarios. The guarantee applies subject to the configured workflow, supported connections, account standing, and the published terms.
Are door-lock controls included automatically?
Yes. Door-lock controls are included in every current hotel plan. The hotel still needs supported lock hardware to be installed, configured, and connected before those controls can issue, revoke, verify, or audit door access.
Where can I see the technical controls?
The Revenue Leakage Controls module page explains the product mechanisms in more detail. You can also run the five-minute operations control audit to map the gaps in your current property.
